Procession Through the Thornwood

A vertically composed fantasy painting gathers pale, hooded figures beneath an intricate canopy of twisting branches and spectral faces. The central woman in white sits elevated within a dark thorn frame, while smaller figures, animal-like forms, and shadowy companions descend through a damp, overgrown landscape. Loose yet emphatic brushwork gives the scene a dreamlike, folkloric character, with the crowded foreground of reeds and tangled roots contrasting against the luminous, mist-filled distance.
