Tidebound Spirits

A dramatic fantasy painting gathers several pale, windblown figures and sinuous horse-like spirits within a stormy coastal landscape. The clustered bodies form a twisting vertical arrangement, while flowing hair, antler-like adornments, bridles, and reins echo the curling movement of the surf. Softly modeled faces and flesh contrast with heavily worked dark manes and textured water, giving the scene a mythic, melancholic sense of peril and enchantment.
