Nests Above the Wires

The work presents a tall steel electricity tower carrying several large bird nests, with long-legged storks perched among the insulators and latticework. Against an expansive, clouded gray-blue sky, the dark geometric structure and sweeping utility lines create a stark meeting point between engineered infrastructure and improvised wildlife habitat. The upward-looking composition gives the scene a quiet, contemplative sense of coexistence.
