Hands Across the Dark

A contemporary figurative painting presents two warm, copper-toned hands isolated against a deep black ground: one stretches horizontally with its fingers splayed, while the other rises vertically and bends inward like a delicate bird or abstracted gesture. Hard-edged contours and luminous highlights give the forms a polished, almost sculptural presence, while the surrounding darkness creates a suspended, dreamlike space.
