Veiled by Rose Light

A stylized female portrait emerges from a stark black ground, her pale face divided by a large glittering rose-pink semicircle and framed by sweeping charcoal-gray forms. One blue-gray eye, a small red mouth, and a long pale dress remain visible through the geometric interruption, while a vivid yellow flower-like shape rises at the lower edge. The deliberately flattened forms, heavy contours, and selective sparkle give the work a theatrical, enigmatic presence.
