vowged vampet

A richly worked contemporary still life arranges a floating, architectural platform of figurines, dangling bead strands, painted blocks, and delicate white flowers against a calm turquoise ground. Heavy impasto and scraped, layered passages give the clustered forms a tactile, almost sculptural presence, while the suspended elements introduce an uncanny sense of balance and poetic instability. The composition feels both carefully constructed and wonderfully improbable, like a private altar assembled from fragments of memory.
