Crimson Light, Broken Ground

A tall abstract composition stages a turbulent encounter between deep burgundy fields, searing yellow passages, and sharp white interruptions. Jagged diagonals cut across the vertical format like fractured architecture or splintered terrain, while translucent overlaps and rough-edged applications give the surface a physical, hand-worked presence. The concentrated brightness at the center and lower section pushes against the enclosing dark red, creating a charged sense of rupture and illumination.
