Field Beneath Summer Light

A vigorous abstract landscape rises from a dense foreground of dark, reed-like marks, splattered pigment, and tangled vertical gestures. Above it, a luminous blue expanse opens beneath a weathered band of yellow, green, and chalky pink, suggesting sky, water, and distant light without settling into literal representation. Layered scraping, dripping, and poured paint give the surface an energetic, tactile presence, while the broad horizontal division lends the piece a quiet sense of place.
