Floating Forms in Ochre

A warm ochre field carries a scattered constellation of pale, box-like forms, each rendered with cool blue-gray facets that suggest shallow architectural volumes suspended in space. Fine cream and dark curved marks sweep across the surface like fragments of motion or wind, animating the otherwise still composition. The work’s flattened perspective and uncanny spatial logic give it a quietly dreamlike character, while the richly mottled ground lends the piece the tactile presence of aged material.
