Strata of Burning Light

Horizontal bands of translucent color drift across the paper like shifting geological layers or a fragmented sunset. Deep umbers, rust reds, ochres, greens, and turquoise are brushed and pooled into irregular shapes, while bright passages of yellow and white open through the center and lower field. The composition feels tactile and atmospheric, with softened edges, visible pigment variation, and a restless balance between density and radiance.
