Fragments of a Street Encounter

A handmade photographic collage assembles repeated views of several men gathered outdoors, their bodies and gestures broken into angular strips and offset fragments. The overlapping prints preserve the bustle of a public street while turning ordinary observation into a fractured, almost cinematic study of identity and movement. Mounted against a cool blue ground, the warm sunlight and handwritten notation give the work the character of both found memory and deliberate visual experiment.
