Blush Earth Relief

A vertically oriented abstract work built from thick, plaster-like passages in muted blush, clay, and dusty mauve. The surface is the subject here: scraped, spread, and layered into ridges and soft fissures that catch the light like weathered stone or a worn wall. Broad troweled swaths move downward through the composition, while occasional warm ochre notes and chalky highlights interrupt the largely subdued field, giving the piece a quiet, tactile gravity.
