Across the Egyptian Crossing

A childlike colored-pencil drawing celebrates Egypt through a symbolic military crossing: three uniformed figures advance across sandy ground beneath helicopters, while a bridge spans blue water toward ochre hills. Egyptian flags punctuate the composition, barbed wire and a textured foreground suggest a fortified landscape, and the Arabic inscription “تحيا مصر” crowns the sky. Strong outlines, simplified forms, and energetic hand-colored surfaces give the work an earnest patriotic character.
