Divided Skies, Shared Earth

A hand-drawn political allegory fills the sketchbook page with two opposing profile figures facing one another across a central landscape. Bold outlines, symbolic head coverings, national emblems, a divided ribbon-like flag, airplane, sun, clouds, and a small boat create a crowded narrative of borders, identity, and confrontation. The uneven coloring and direct graphic forms give the work the immediacy of a personal poster or schoolbook illustration, while handwritten script and contrasting facial profiles add a sense of urgency.
