A hand-drawn circular scene shows a silhouetted saluting figure beside an Egyptian flag, set against a low orange sun, green fields, distant shrubs, birds, and a bright blue sky. Simple outlined forms, visible coloring, and a carefully framed vignette give the work an earnest, commemorative character, while the stepped flag base anchors the composition in the foreground.
