A large decorative portrait presents a woman’s face emerging from an exuberant wreath of sunflowers, pink blossoms, butterflies, and bees. Bold outlined forms and layered color give the painting an illustrative, contemporary character, while the living-looking moss attached around the wooden frame extends the garden motif beyond the painted surface. The centered face remains calm and partially veiled by foliage, creating a vivid transformation between figure and flowering landscape.
