Heron Against the Red Sun

A tall heron stands in profile, its long bill and finely swept crest rendered with crisp black-and-white linework. Behind it, a monumental red circle anchors a distressed urban-like field of grids, splatters, blocks, and scraped textures, creating a striking contrast between the bird’s natural elegance and the energetic geometry of the surrounding surface. The poised stance and direct gaze give the work a graphic, emblematic presence.
