Samya Arora
Samya Arora’s work draws on the visual language of ancient Egyptian murals and prehistoric cave painting, portraying ceremonial gatherings, shared harvests, and moving animals. Working with pigment on plaster and rock, as well as fresco, Arora uses flattened forms, earthy mineral tones, rhythmic repetition, and patterned detail to evoke ritual, labor, and abundance. The resulting scenes feel both historically resonant and quietly alive, balancing formal order with gentle movement and human connection.
