Thais Peñaranda’s practice brings together mixed-media installations and photographs that examine bodies, domestic labor, improvised shelters, gardens, and passage through space. Using found objects, geometric floor arrangements, staged gestures, and attentive documentary images, Peñaranda balances stark architecture with intimate traces of everyday life. Across the work, shadow, grain, and direct human presence create quietly ritualistic scenes—tender, resilient, and open to multiple readings.
