Back in 2018, when beauty filters first became all the rage, I first realised what it meant to be beautiful. Being a chubby 9-year-old did not help my mission, but with Meitu in my hands, I was unafraid to shine. I still sort of remember why we took this photo - I wanted a photo for a class project in grade 3... and so here we are: sitting in the living room, me with my fake clip-on earrings, both of us doing "aegyo" under the guise that we transformed into cats. Eventually, the beauty-filter phase drifted from me after you signed me up for synchronised swimming lessons, and I lost all of my baby fat. Thanks for making these decisions for me, and granting my 10-year-old self the wish to be confident and beautiful. Let's keep taking selfies with crazy filters! 回想2018年，当美颜滤镜风靡一时的时候，我第一次领悟了“美”的含义。 那时我才9岁，圆嘟嘟的身材多少有些“拖后腿”，但只要手里握着“美图”App，我就敢于自信地展现光彩。 我依稀记得拍这张照片的缘由——当时是为了完成三年级的一个班级作业……于是就有了这一幕：我们坐在客厅里，我戴着那种无需耳洞的夹式耳环，两人假装变身成了小猫，对着镜头卖萌。 后来，随着你给我报了花样游泳班，我褪去了婴儿肥，那种沉迷美颜滤镜的日子也就随之远去了。谢谢你为我做出的那些决定，让10岁的我如愿变得自信又美丽。让我们继续用那些搞怪滤镜自拍吧！
