Offerings & Blessed

We are not religious, but we often pay our respects to Buddhas and other deities in temples around Asia. We pray and wish for many things: academic success, career paths, and good health. When I was younger, my prayers used to be a lot shorter and much vaguer. Now, I add many things to my wishes, one of the greatest being to spend our lives together exploring the world and ruling it. What is more, I thank the skies above for blessing me with a mom who encourages me to reach for the sky and beyond. 我们虽无特定宗教信仰，却常在亚洲各地的寺庙里向佛陀及诸神致意。我们祈愿的内容广泛，涵盖了学业有成、事业顺遂以及身体安康等方方面面。年轻时，我的祈祷往往简短而笼统；如今，我的愿望清单里增添了许多内容，其中最宏大的一个，便是与她携手共度余生，一同探索并主宰这个世界。此外，我也由衷感谢上苍，赐予我一位总是鼓励我志存高远、不断超越自我的母亲。
