Playful or Nuisance?

There I am, the crazy public-nuisance child I've always been! The first time I heard about the reason why you decided to send me to an international school in Singapore, I thought to myself: "Yup... that sounds about right!" Listening to you recount how parents at the Chinese nursery scowled as 2-year-old me ran around, unable to sit still for a minute, I've come to realise how glad I am. I enjoy running free like water. But what I'm most grateful for is you giving me the opportunity to take off. 看，那个从小就疯疯癫癫、总爱惹是生非的孩子，就是我！当初得知你们决定送我去新加坡读国际学校时，我心里的第一个念头就是：“嗯……这确实很像我会做的事！”听你们讲起当年在中文幼儿园，两岁的我总是上蹿下跳、一刻也坐不住，引得其他家长频频皱眉，我才真正体会到那份庆幸——我天生就爱像水一样自由奔流；但最让我感激的，是你们给了我展翅高飞的机会。
