A grand figurative tableau presents Christ at the center of a long banquet table, surrounded by animated disciples whose gestures and sidelong exchanges create a wave of movement across the composition. The symmetrical Renaissance-inspired interior, patterned ironwork, coffered ceiling, and distant mountain views establish a solemn architectural frame, while the richly colored robes and carefully arranged dishes lend the scene a theatrical, devotional presence.
