Ceremony of Resonant Brass

A carefully arranged display of traditional percussion instruments stands before pleated silver-gray curtains, with a suspended bronze gong at the center and rows of small gongs resting below. Painted, striped supports rise on either side beneath an elaborate scrollwork crest, while decorated barrel drums anchor the foreground. The symmetrical presentation and tiled floor give the scene the measured character of a ceremonial exhibition.
