GRATITUDE B

Camy Samson’s practice explores the meeting point of human thought, ritual, and the natural world through carved wood, fired clay, hammered gold, coconut shell, and photography. Weathered vessels, guardians, inscribed surfaces, skulls, and woodland growth appear as fragments of memory, balancing archaeological mystery with intimate observation. Across sculpture, image, and mixed-media painting, Samson’s tactile forms and restrained compositions give worn materials a quiet, enduring presence.
