Falling Through the Branches

A vertical nature photograph peers through a dense lattice of wind-shaped branches and soft foreground foliage toward a narrow waterfall descending over dark, wet rock. Pale stone ledges occupy the upper field, while the white rush of water creates a bright, shifting axis through the center and lower half. The layered obstruction of leaves and twigs gives the scene an intimate, almost hidden quality, as though the viewer has paused at the edge of a secluded ravine.
