Zeljko creates layered mixed-media abstractions from torn paper, painted gestures, scraped surfaces, and sharply cut geometric fragments. Burgundy, deep blue, charcoal, white, turquoise, and rust-colored passages form restless fields where birdlike, architectural, or fragmented figures emerge without becoming literal. Diagonal movement, exposed underlayers, and delicate drawn lines balance turbulence with structure, inviting the eye into compositions that feel tactile, improvised, and quietly enigmatic.
