Silvia Woods

Silvia Woods creates expressive paintings and drawings where gardens, birds, animals, figures, and musical motifs emerge from richly layered fields of color. Working across acrylic, oil, oil pastel, and mixed media, she combines scraped passages, gestural marks, bold contours, and translucent washes to balance recognizable forms with abstraction. Her scenes feel intimate and dreamlike, transforming remembered landscapes and charged moments into tactile, animated worlds that invite close looking.
