Beatriz Duarte, Bruna Coiteiro, Matilde Cardoso, Valeria Corlateanu

Beatriz Duarte, Bruna Coiteiro, Matilde Cardoso, and Valeria Corlateanu create emotionally charged paintings and prints that move between intimate interiors, solitary figures, urban streets, and expansive landscapes. Their expressive language combines luminous, often high-key color with emphatic contours, directional brushwork, dense crosshatching, and stark black-and-white contrasts. Across scenes of mourning, refuge, pilgrimage, and renewal, they transform ordinary settings into psychologically resonant visions of vulnerability, endurance, and wonder.
